VP of Product
Title:VP of Product
Location:Richmond, VA
As a key member of the SingleComm executive team, the VP of Product will serve as the critical bridge between the business needs of our customers and the engineers who build products. The VP of Product will work with the Sales team and customers to understand current and future market needs, as well as with the Engineering team throughout the development process. The VP of Product is ultimately responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, formulating the product roadmap, and bringing products to market. 
  • Own product strategy definition and execution 
  • Own the product lifecycle and roadmap execution for all products (CX Create, CX Flow, CX Route, and CX Explore)
  • Manage the Product team
  • Work with customers and users to gather initial product ideas, stories and use cases
  • Work with business owners, engineering, and other teams to design, manage the product development process, and launch.
  • Work closely with engineers throughout the entire development cycle to ensure releases are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget
  • Prioritize resource allocation based on competing priorities

  •  7+  years professional experience in Product Management, ideally with a communication, marketing automation, or SaaS company.
  • BA/BS ideally in information systems or computer science 
  • Experience successfully managing product teams
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to learn quickly and function in a do-it-yourself environment
  • Strong commercial insight; ability to develop both quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Strong understanding of internet and communication technologies
  • Ability to work well within a cross-functional team environment
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

Ideal Qualifications:
  • MBA
  • Experience with industry leading CRMs like Salesforce
  • Experience with AI, data science and machine learning
